Description
This is a 2 night camp-out to give Junior girls a chance to learn and practice the skills needed to for the Junior Jam competitions. Skills include tent set-up, fire safety, knife safety, first aid, knots, lashing, Girl Scout know-how, practical know-how, map and compass. Older girls and adults will be there to teach the skills. Saturday night will include a group campfire with S'mores/ Troops will need to bring their own tents, cooking gear and food. There is a $10 fee for each vehicle entering the park. Each troop/group is responsible for paying their own vehicle fees.
Participants will be asked to bring:
Sleeping bag, pillow, mat, personal toiletries, change of clothes, underwear, 4 pairs of socks, warm jacket, pajamas, flashlight, poncho, sunblock and hat.
