After completing required training, Coaches explain Council and national policies and procedures to new leaders and serve as role models. They share their skills and expertise/interests in working with girls with new volunteer leaders, enabling new leaders to better support their troops/groups. Coaches support new leaders in a variety of ways--it’s up to you! Meet face-to-face with leaders individually or in small groups, talk over the phone, or e-mail information. Coaches may also give helpful tips of interest to girls.
Adult Learning Facilitators deliver adult learning, within the Council’s jurisdiction, that will enable volunteers to carry out their position responsibilities with competence and satisfaction. They share their skills and expertise/interests in working with girls with new volunteer leaders, enabling new leaders to better support their troops/groups.
